BRISBANE BRONCOS VS SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS –Â THURSDAY JUNE 17, 7:50PM, SUNCORP STADIUM
The Broncos host the fourth-placed South Sydney Rabbitohs on Thursday night, marking the first of three consecutive home matches.
The Bunnies have won convincingly on either side of a bye and will enjoy a favourable draw ahead, with their next six opponents all currently holding losing records. They will be further boosted by their Origin quartet – who missed the win against Newcastle – returning to the starting lineup.
Fellow Origin rep Jayden Su’A drops out with Benji Marshall, Liam Knight and Peter Mamouzelos also making way. The Broncos will welcome back Xavier Coates on the wing, moving Tesi Nui to fullback and Herbie Farnworth to the centres.

NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS VS CRONULLA SHARKS –Â FRIDAY JUNE 18, 6:00PM, QUEENSLAND COUNTRY BANK STADIUM
The Cronulla Sharks will look to continue their mid-season momentum when they travel to face the North Queensland Cowboys on Friday night.
It wasn’t pretty, but Cronulla managed to squeak out a last-second win over the half-strength Panthers last week to slide up to ninth, while the Cowboys are simply looking to forget all about their disheartening 50-18 loss to Manly at Pines Park.
After a night to forget against the Sea Eagles in Brookvale last Friday, the Cowboys welcome back Kyle Feldt at the expense of Justin O’Neill, while Mitch Dunn is back from suspension in the second row, pushing Peter Hola out of the 17.
Sharks skipper Wade Graham will miss after a head knock last week, with his place taken by Siosifa Talakai and Teig Wilton to be promoted to the bench.

PENRITH PANTHERS VS SYDNEY ROOSTERS –Â FRIDAY JUNE 18, 7:55PM, PANTHERS STADIUM
The Penrith Panthers will host the Sydney Roosters on Friday night looking to snap a two-match skid that has seen them relinquish the top spot on the ladder.
The Panthers will be hungry to get back to business with their stars returning from a rest, while the Roosters will be equally as eager to push for a top four spot after pulling off a miracle last Saturday against the Titans.
The fact only one point separated these two sides when they met in the Qualifying Final last year adds further spice, although that hasn’t stopped the bookies from installing Penrith as double-digit favourites at the line.
The inclusion of Nathan Cleary Isaah Yeo is enough to make this a matchup nightmare for Trent Robinson, especially with a long list of troops still absent on the sideline.

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS VS NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS –Â SATURDAY JUNE 19, 3:00PM, MCDONALD JONES STADIUM
Two teams expected to challenge for the top eight have lost touch and will be eager to arrest a slide that has seen them both lose four of their past five. It makes Saturday afternoon’s match between the Newcastle Knights and New Zealand Warriors a must-win.
These teams met back in Round 2, with the Knights prevailing 20-16 in Gosford. Since then, the Knights have won only three matches, with their season-defining moment upon them this weekend.
Fortunately, there could be good news on the horizon with both Kalyn Ponga and Mitchell Peace a chance at playing this week.
The Knights have played to a strong 4-2 record head-to-head and a 3-0 record at the line as the home favourite against the Warriors, and they should be winning this game providing Ponga and Pearce suit up.

ST GEORGE-ILLAWARRA DRAGONS VS CANBERRA RAIDERS –Â SATURDAY JUNE 19, 5:30PM, WIN STADIUM
Coming off their worst loss of the season, the St. George Illawarra Dragons will look to bounce back when they host the Canberra Raiders in Wollongong on Saturday evening.
Last week’s 28-6 loss to the Bulldogs was the lowlight of the season for head coach Anthony Griffin, and it’s fair to say the Red V won’t hold particularly fond memories of the Raiders with three straight losses dating back to 2019.
Canberra has been a disappointment this season but will be hoping a 38-16 demolition of the Broncos last week can kickstart a push towards the top eight.

MELBOURNE STORM VS WESTS TIGERS –Â SATURDAY JUNE 19, 7:35PM, SUNSHINE COAST STADIUM
The Storm moved into the top spot on the ladder last week with a blowout win over the Warriors, and they look very likely to remain there with another favourable game against the Tigers on Saturday.
The Storm may have just claimed their 11th successive victory, however, you could be forgiven for classing last weekend’s 42-16 win over the Warriors as a return to form following a lacklustre performance against the Titans.
After winning four in six, the Tigers moved out of the bottom four for the first time all season, however, a heavy defeat to Parramatta on Sunday saw them fall back to 13th.

PARRAMATTA EELS VS CANTERBURY BULLDOGS –Â SUNDAY JUNE 20, 2:00PM, BANKWEST STADIUM
Third-placed Parramatta have their eyes firmly on back-to-back rivalry wins but Canterbury could pose a tougher-than-expected challenge for the Eels.
The Eels kicked away to comfortably beat Wests Tigers in their round 14 derby with playmaking guns Mitchell Moses and Clint Gutherson leading the way for Parramatta in the six-tries-to-two romp.
Trent Barrett’s side was impressive from start to finish thanks to some superb finishing from Jake Averillo, but this is obviously a much tougher task against an Eels side that is hoping to record back-to-back rivalry wins.

GOLD COAST TITANS VS MANLY SEA EAGLES –Â SUNDAY JUNE 20, 4:05PM, CBUS SUPER STADIUM
It’s a special kind of pain when you lose a match by a field goal so the Titans will want to make up for the one that got away against the Roosters last week with a decisive win over Manly on Sunday.
That will be no easy feat as the Sea Eagles expect to have Tom Trbojevic back in their line-up after a rest following his NSW Origin heroics.
The Titans can rest a little easier knowing David Fifita and Tino Fa’asuamaleaui are set to play after passing their HIA’s, while there’s also a good chance Anthony Don returns from a hip injury.
Still, the Sea Eagles punished the Titans 36-0 when these two sides met back in April and it’s almost impossible to ignore how awful this team has been defensively this year.
