Covid is affecting games again but at this stage it looks like we should get the full slate.

Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

These two teams are pretty terrible. This is unlikely to be a classic and despite the chance of a boost after the firing of Urban Meyer, I simply can’t pass up the opportunity to get so many points when going up against the Jaguars. Jacksonville are a very bad team, and giving 5 points to anybody is just not going to end well too often. The money has come in for the Jags all week and I am happy to go against the public.

Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears

The Bears enter this game with a great recent record over the Vikings. They have won five of the past six and they really seem to have the measure of Kirk Cousins and co. Both sides have injury issues but the Vikings are perhaps the worst hit. At home, and with their great record, I like the Bears as sizable underdogs.

Washington Football Team @ Philadelphia Eagles

Washington are another of these teams hit by Covid. Taylor Heincke will be on the sidelines and his back up Kyle Allen may also miss the game if he can’t clear protocols. This adds to what was already a terrible injury list with the likes of Terry McLaurin out. The Eagles are not great but they are solid. They can take advantage of this injury and illness ravaged Washington team.

Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams

This game has been put back, largely because the Rams have been destroyed by Covid. Despite that the Rams are still huge favourites. Their preperation has been hit here, they will be without players and these NFC West match ups are always hard fought battles. With a team coming into this game so up in the air, I can’t do anything but take the opposing side as large underdogs.
