Midweek Sydney racing heads to Warwick Farm on Wednesday. Our analyst has selected an emerging Matthew Smith 3yo and a Conners runner at big odds getting a clear map advantage.Â
Best Selection: R7 – Golden Straand
Golden Straand was an impressive 3.3L maiden winner at Gosford 2 starts back before finishing 1L 2nd to Diddle Dumpling at Rosehill in Saturday company last start. He gets a great map from Gate 5 and looks a very progressive type.
Value Selection: R1 -Sleuth
Sleuth has been consistent in 3 runs over a mile this prep running 2nd at Canterbury and a pair of placings at the provincials. He obviously gets a big map edge rolling forward in what looks to be a slowly run race. Note that McMurray will only claim one of his three kilograms with his minimum weight being 53kg.
