Victor Radley has admitted he will consider offers from rival NRL clubs and even the English Super League for the first time in his career when he becomes a free agent on Sunday.
The Sydney Roosters enforcer said his preference was still to stay a one-club player, but told The Sydney Morning Herald his next contract had to look after his fiancée Taylah and their two young sons.
“The Roosters are everything I’ve ever known,” Radley said. “I love the club so much. They’ve done right by me for years.
“It hurts me inside just thinking about playing elsewhere, but I need to look at all my options now. The days are gone where I’m living in a two-bedroom unit, having a good time. I have two kids, a fiancée, and a house that needs paying off.”
Super League and PNG Chiefs on the table
The 28-year-old local junior has won three premierships with the Roosters, according to the Herald, and has never tested the open market before.
If he can’t agree to a new deal in Bondi, Radley is open to joining an NRL rival, including the incoming PNG Chiefs, or moving to England, the country he represents at the Rugby League World Cup.

“I’m open to everything. I love new experiences, that might even include living in England and playing in the Super League. It’s something I’d be interested in,” he said.
New management team
Radley said he was in no rush to settle his future and was finalising his departure from long-time agent Sam Ayoub.
“I’m joining a new company run by my fiancée’s uncle [Paul Williams] who has brought on board my good friend Max Muddle. I’m excited about that. We’ll sit down on Monday and work out what we want to do moving forward,” he said.
Radley also insisted prospective clubs had no cause for alarm over his history of head knocks, with the Herald reporting he missed only one game through concussion in 2026.
“I worked hard with the staff to make sure I never get into that state of fatigue again, and the proof has been in the pudding with just the one [head knock this year],” Radley said.

Radley backs Farnworth to join Roosters
The Roosters have lost Mark Nawaqanitawase, Daly Cherry-Evans, Angus Crichton and Spencer Leniu since their premiership win, and are also in a stand-off with halfback Sam Walker.
Radley said he hoped his England teammate Herbie Farnworth, who has been heavily linked with the Roosters, would end up at the club.
“He’s a quality player,” Radley said. “I’ve said it since 2022. When you see how hard he works at training, he’ll be a quality player for any team – and hopefully it’s us.”
Radley is set to turn his attention back to the World Cup, with England taking on Papua New Guinea in Wollongong on Friday night before the free agency window opens on Sunday, 1 November.
