Trial Review: Horses You Must Follow From The Trials Over The Past Week 30/7
July 30, 2020
Chris Camilleri has taken a look back over the trials of the past week, reviewing the replays and times to come up with three to follow first up and through their prep.
Signore Fox – Randwick 28/7/20
The last start winner of the Listed Ramornie Handicap trialed very impressively recording the third quickest 1080m trial of the morning and quickest last 600m, sat back in the field and ran right through the line under a hard hold.Â
When To Bet
Will go straight to the races now and will want 1200m-1400m.Â
Trial 3 over 1080m : Overall Time 1:03.14 Last 600m 33.46
Rulership – Randwick 28/7/20
High-Class colt for the Snowden ran second in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude and looks to have come back even better this preparation, with James McDonald on board showed great early pace to lead and quickly put a gap on them under minimal riding.Â
When To Bet
Will go straight to Saturday grade over 1000m and with his superior early speed will be very tough to beat.
Trial 6 over 1080m : Overall Time 1:03.07 Last 600m 34.24
Oojooba – Randwick 28/7/20
Three start maiden that looks to have come back a totally different galloper this preparation recording the quickest 1080m trial of the morning, the most impressive part of the win was how easily the filly did it and was under a tight hold through the line.
When To Bet
Will look for a 1000m maiden and prove very hard to beat if able to reproduce the trial effort on race day, will go onto better races this preparation and one to follow.Â
Trial 7 over 1080m : Overall Time 1:03.00 Last 600m 34.33
