I’m keen to be with the Hawkes mare if she finds the right race 1st up after her 0.6L 3rd to Linebacker in a Randwick Course Proper trial. She set a good tempo settling just inside Linebacker and went all the way with the Silver Eagle winner until the last 50m until Beadman and Linebacker were asked to do a little more.
