It is now time to take a look at the top fantasy player at every fantasy position from week 17. We are featuring one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end and one kicker.Â
Quarterback–Brock Purdy
The San Francisco 49ers are still in the running for the number one seed in the NFC and a first round bye following a 42-38 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy of Queen Creek, Arizona completed 24 of 33 passes for 303 passing yards and three touchdowns along with 28 rushing yards and two more major scores.
Running back–Derrick Henry
The Baltimore Ravens kept their playoff hopes alive with a 41-28 win over the Green Bay Packers. Without Lamar Jackson, we saw greatness from Ravens running back Derrick Henry of Yulee, Florida. Henry had 36 rushes for 216 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Wide Receiver–Luther Burden III
In the 80 point game between the Bears and 49ers on Sunday night, we also saw excellence from Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III of St. Louis, Missouri. Burden III had eight catches for 138 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Tight End–Colston Loveland
Burden III was not the only Bears rookie who was excellent on Sunday. We also saw greatness from tight end Colston Loveland of Goldendale, Washington. Loveland had six catches for 94 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Kicker–Joey Slye
The native of Albuquerque, New Mexico made four field goals and two converts in a 34-26 Tennessee Titans loss to the New Orleans Saints. The field goals were of 28, 38, 50 and 58 yards.
