Top player at every fantasy position in Week 16 of NFL fantasy season

It is now time to take a look at the top fantasy player at every fantasy position from week 16. We are featuring one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end and one kicker. 

Quarterback–Brock Purdy

The San Francisco 49ers had the spotlight on Monday night and completely sparkled offensively. It was a great game for 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy of Queen Creek, Arizona. Purdy completed 25 of 34 passes for 295 passing yards and five touchdowns, along with two rushes for 11 rushing yards, in a 48-27 49ers win over the Indianapolis Colts. Tight end George Kittle of Madison, Wisconsin had 115 yards receiving, and running back Christian McCaffrey of Castle Rock, Colorado had two touchdown catches.

Running Back–Ashton Jeanty

The Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back from Jacksonville, Florida sizzled on Sunday against a Houston Texans team with an excellent defense. Jeanty had 188 total yards (128 rushing yards and 60 receiving yards) and two touchdowns in a 23-21 Raiders loss to the Houston Texans.

Wide Receiver–Puca Nacua

Just like Jeanty, Nacua lost in week 16, but had a great game. The native of Las Vegas, Nevada had 12 catches for 225 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a 38-37 Rams overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Tight End–George Kittle

As mentioned, Kittle was Purdy’s top option on Monday night. He had his best game of the season and reached the century mark in receiving yards (115) for the first time in 2025. With the win, the 49ers improved to a record of 11 wins and four losses.

Kicker–Charlie Smyth

The top kicker of the week is also our top rookie of the week. Charlie Smyth of Newry, Northern Ireland made five of six field goals and two converts in a 29-6 New Orleans Saints win over the New York Jets.
