The National Football League is six weeks old and there have been an incredible number of upsets and surprises. Here are the top five headlines from the week.
5) Bills deliver statement win.
We all know about the Buffalo Bills’s struggles against Kansas City in recent years. The Chiefs have won six of eight games against the Bills since 2013. On Sunday, the Bills beat the Chiefs 24-20 to improve to 5-1. Stefon Diggs came through with a monster performance as he had 10 catches for 148 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs had an elite wideout a year ago, but then in the offseason, traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. Yes, the Chiefs had a solid performance from JuJu Smith-Schuster (five catches, 113 yards and one touchdown), but he has not been as consistent as Diggs in 2022.
4) Jets win first game against Packers in 16 years.
The fact the Jets are 4-2 is a big story. On Sunday, they won their third straight game with a 27-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. We all know what a great rookie running back Breece Hall has become, but the Jets defense deserves a lot of credit for limiting the high-octane Packers offense to 10 points.

The New York Football Giants won four games all of last year. They have already exceeded that total in 2022. On Sunday, the Giants shocked the Baltimore Ravens 24-20. A major reason for the Giants success is running back Saquon Barkley, who has 616 rushing yards in six games, and a NFL high 771 yards from scrimmage.

2) Eagles remain undefeated.
Fly Eagles Fly! On Sunday, Philadelphia improved to a record of six wins and zero losses after a 26-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys in prime time. Philadelphia is now +56 after six games, which is the best in the NFC. Their next three games are rather easy as they have Pittsburgh, Washington and Houston.

On Sunday, the Steelers entered the game as a 9.5 point underdog. But it was Mitch Trubisky who led Pittsburgh to a 20-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Trubisky came into the game in the second half when Kenny Pickett suffered a concussion, and threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Canadian Chase Claypool.
