Week three of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five rookies on winning teams.
5) Tory Horton
The rookie from Fresno, California was marvelous on Sunday in a 44-13 Seahawks win over the New Orleans Saints. Horton, a fifth round pick by the Seahawks out of Colorado State, had three catches for 32 receiving yards and one touchdown and a 95 yard punt return for another major score. The touchdown catch was 14 yards from quarterback Sam Darnold.Â
4) Quinshon Judkins
The native of Pike Road, Alabama had 18 rushes for 94 rushing yards and one touchdown and one catch for one yard in a 13-10 Browns upset win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Judkins’s touchdown was for one yard and tied the game at 10 with three minutes and one second left in the fourth quarter. Judkins was the Browns’s second round pick out of Ohio State.
3) Luther Burden III
The native of St. Louis, Missouri had three catches for 101 receiving yards and one touchdown in a 31-14 Chicago Bears win over the Dallas Cowboys. Burden III’s touchdown was a 65 yard catch from Caleb Williams and put the Bears up 14-3 with four minutes and 10 seconds left in the first quarter. Burden III was the Bears’s second round pick out of Missouri. This was the first win for new Bears rookie head coach Ben Johnson.Â
2) Ryan Fitzgerald
The native of Coolidge, Georgia had field goals from 35, 41, and 57 yards on Sunday in the Carolina Panthers’s 30-0 romp over the Atlanta Falcons. Fitzgerald also made three converts against a Falcons team that could not finalize drives. Fitzgerald was undrafted, and played his college ball at Florida State.
1) Omarion Hampton
The native of Forest City, North Carolina had 19 rushes for 70 rushing yards, and six catches for 59 receiving yards in a 23-20 Chargers win over the Denver Broncos. Hampton’s touchdown run was for three yards and put the Chargers up 10-0 with 1:53 left in the second quarter. The Chargers are now a perfect 3-0.
