Week 11 of the 2023 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five offensive performances by rookies on winning teams.
5) Dontayvion Wicks
The Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver from Baton Rouge, Louisiana had three catches for 91 yards on Sunday in a 23-20 Packers win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Wicks was the fifth round pick, 153rd overall by the Packers in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Virginia.
4) Puka Nacua
The Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver from Las Vegas, Nevada had five catches for 70 yards and one touchdown in a 17-16 Rams upset win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Nacua’s touchdown catch from Matt Stafford was for four yards and came nine seconds left in the first half. Nacua now has 69 catches for 897 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 2023.
3) C.J. Stroud
The Texans continue to roll. On Sunday they improved to a record of six wins and four losses following a 21-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud of Rancho Cucamonga, California put together a solid performance. He completed 27 of 37 passes for 336 yards and two touchdowns.
2) Tank Dell
Stroud’s number one target was Tank Dell. The native of Daytona Beach, Florida, who was the Texans’s third round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, had eight catches for 149 yards and one touchdown. The touchdown catch was for 40 yards, came with 26 seconds left in the first half, and put Houston up 21-10 at the time.
1) Tommy DeVito
With Daniel Jones out for the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, Tommy DeVito of Livingston, New Jersey is the new Giants number one quarterback. After a poor performance in each of the last three weeks, DeVito completed 18 of 26 passes for 246 passing yards and three touchdowns, along with seven rushing yards in a 31-19 Giants win over the Washington Commanders.
