He’s an interesting runner. He was excellent last start and put up some big figures over the 1000m at Randwick finishing 6th in much tougher company. This is his fifth start for the Dale stable and his first start without any new gear changes. That decision on the back of last start has to be respected. May be scratched here to race at Randwick.

Goulburn Race 8

He resumed for the Waller stable finishing 6th at Gosford over the mile. He was beaten by the likes of Shibli, Mightybeel who are both subsequent winners. He sat behind a solid speed and managed some solid splits late after coming around the tight bend. Will be fitter second-up, draws a good gate. Comes in under notice.

Blinkers came on a couple runs back and has seemed to get the best out of him. His recent ratings set him up well here. Last start was beaten by Par Avion on a wet track at Taree over 1400m. He meets her 2.5kg better at the weights here and on his preferred going. Two races prior, over 1400m, have been at fast tempos and he has produced some big figures. He maps perfectly from barrier 1 and Ashley Morgan sticks.

2 tricky cards from a betting perspective. Nothing of extreme confidence, day for some value plays.
