Last two starts have been encouraging. Won 2 back over the mile in good time. He then backed it up for a placing here over the mile on slow. A repeat of either effort should see him competitive here. He has shown some early speed for the new stable and suggests he can settle closer from the soft draw. Jock retains the ride.

Resumed well for the new stable. Finished 4th 2.4L first up against tougher company over the 1150m. He then backed up tha effort at Wagga over 1300m finishing 4th 2.5L in much tougher company. This is his easiest assignment yet and does have a class edge on these lot. Blinkers come on first time here. Simon Miller retains the ride as a regular rider.
