According to Myles Simmons of NBC Sports on Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired wide receiver Allen Robinson II of Detroit, Michigan from the Los Angeles Rams via a trade. The Steelers become Robinson’s fourth National Football League franchise following the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and Rams.
In the trade, the Steelers and Rams are trading seventh round draft picks. The Steelers are acquiring the 251st overall pick, and the Rams are acquiring the 234th overall pick. The 2023 National Football League Draft takes place from April 27-29 at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. Due to the fact that the deal involved draft picks in the seventh round, and the seventh round is the final round of the draft, then we will not know the players who were involved in the deal until April 29.
The Rams and Steelers have two seventh round draft picks. Los Angeles has the 223rd overall pick and the Steelers have the 241st overall pick.
