Punters are set for an exciting day of racing at Sandown with the Hillside track playing host to 8 very competitive races. There are a number of shorties on the program so it’ll be interesting if they can live up to their price or let the punters down!
The track is currently rated a Good 4. Victorians are set to expect a mild day with a top temperature of 18 degrees. There’s no rain forecasted, and wind speed is extremely low so expect a good 4 track throughout.
The rail is out 12m for the entire meeting. The Hillside track is one of the few tracks that when the rail is out 12m you can make up good ground swooping. Will be interested to watch the first few races however, it should be a pretty even track.
