We see Midweek racing return to Sandown where the Hillside track is set to host a tough, winter 8 race card.
The track is currently rated a Good 4. Victorians are set to expect a freezing day with a top temperature of 13 degrees. There’s some rain forecasted in the morning/early afternoon which could push the track into the Soft 5 range.
The rail is out 8m for the entire meeting. The Hillside track is one of the few tracks when the rail is out 5m+ that it is of advantage to be swooping down the outside of the track. Expecting similar conditions today.
