Rosehill Best Selection & Value Play 2/10

Midweek racing heads to Rosehill this week. We’ve selected a filly with a placing behind Mayfair as the best selections and a Waller stayer that should improve sharply stepping up in trip as the value selection.
Best Selection: R7- Mergeila
Mergeila brings a nice profile for a midweek BM72. She finished 3rd behind Mayfair and Mawjood in Saturday company 1st up before and nice 1.1L victory at Canterbury.
She maps to get a nice run behind a genuine tempo and the fact that J Mac landed on her and not the favourite before scratchings was a good read.

Value Selection: R4- Kadvadar
Kadvadar stands out as great value at double figure odds in a race where he should be suited by a couple of noted leaders running them along up front. He ran home nicely to finish 1.6L 5th over 1580m at Canterbury 1st up. He now steps up to a suitable distance 2nd up where he has been a winner before.
