Rosehill Best Selection & Value Play 14/6

1 year ago - Sportingbase Rosehill Best Selection & Value Play 14/6 Image

Sydney racing returns to Rosehill kicking off on a Soft 5 with a +3m Rail. Our analyst likes a Pride gelding ready to peak 4th up and a Waller 2yo coming off an outstanding tick over trial as the value play.

Best Selection: R6- Little Cointreau

Little Cointreau looks ready to win 4th up and getting back on firmer ground. The Pride gelding sat 3-wide with cover and recorded a solid 0.5L 3rd. The effort was impressive after his trainer had declared prior to the race he will be much better on top of the ground. He gets a soft run in his usual midfield position from Gate 5.

Value Selection: R1- Regulated Affair

Regulated Affair looks ready to deliver another win after a 2.5L 4th behind the talented Agarwood where he should’ve finished 2nd with clear running at the top of the straight. He has since been kept up to the mark with a quiet but impressive tick over trial at Rosehill where he ran through the line strongly without being asked to do much.
