Ronaldo to Manchester City?
August 26, 2021
Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the move to Manchester City before the end of the transfer window next week.
The former Manchester United star signed for Juventus in 2018 with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old’s agent Jorge Mendes is in Turin to discuss his future and find a move.

After playing 292 games for United and scoring 118 goals between 2003 and 2009, fans from the club will be disappointed to hear that he is linked with their cross-town rival.
Ronaldo is currently earning € 584,540 ($947,181) a week at Juventus and the club will be looking to offload the unhappy star’s wages.
There has been no formal offer for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner but after Harry Kane committed his future to Spurs for another season, the opportunity for Manchester City to bolster their forward line is now open.
The only problem Ronaldo will face with the move is City’s recent signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa and there is uncertainty over whether Pep Guardiola wants to add any more players to the squad.
With the high wages and transfer fee surrounding the Portugal star, City looks like the only club able to afford the player with Paris Saint-Germain content with their transfer activity this window.
