If you follow our Racing Ratings posts, then you’ll know that we assess the sectionals, ratings & replays to supply you with a list of horses to follow in their next start. We have FOUR of those runners ready to win at the Gold Coast on Friday.

1 Of 4 Tips: Randwick Race 1 – Regulated Affair

Thoughts:

This colt was dominant when winning at Warwick Farm last time out and in doing so, finished 3.5L ahead of the average for that grade.

He steps up to 1,200m which should suit and we can only see Agarwood as a danger.

2 Of 4 Tips: Sandown Race 1 – Rosangela

  • Jockey: B Mertens
  • Trainer: Price & Kent Jnr
  • Barrier: 1

Thoughts:

The Price & Kent filly went down fighting when beaten 0.5L  at Caulfield last start.

Her performance rated nearly 10L better than average for that grade which is higher than any horse in this race has produced.

We love the drop back to 1,000m and can only see Saluted being a danger.

3 Of 4 Tips: Doomben Race 8 – Pride Of Jenni

Thoughts:

Well we all know Jenni and how she races.

The key is whether she is going to back up her performance from last start where she finished 16L faster than average.

No runner in the race came close to those ratings in their last start and we can see her scooting away from the field at the 1,000m mark and being too hard to run down around this tight track.

Antino is the only danger.

4 Of 4 Tips: Sandown Race 9 – Sunshineinmypocket

Thoughts:

This gelding earned a tough victory at Caulfield last time out and will have to be tough again with barrier 13.

He finished over 10L faster than the average and when we look at what the other runners in the race produced, we can see that Mollynickers is the only horse to produce similar numbers.

The barrier could be the difference between winning & losing.
