If you follow our Racing Ratings posts, then you’ll know that we assess the sectionals, ratings & replays to supply you with a list of horses to follow in their next start. We have two of those runners ready to win at Doomben & Flemington on Saturday.

If you enjoy this free program, then enter your email at the bottom of this page, and we will email you our lists each week and alert you when the runners are entered to race.

Immediacy

Thoughts:

This looks a stronger race than what we saw when Immediacy won last start at Caulfield, but the win there was impressive enough to suggest that this horse is more than capable of winning a race like this.

The market seems to agree with us, with the Busuttin & Young runner sitting at second favourite behind Sir Delius, who is first up at 2,000m

Sir Delius is bringing some strong G1 form from France into this race, so it could be a case of this horse being too good, but being first up and also being its first run in Australia, it’s worth a look at Immediacy or even taking the Quinella.

Stylish Secret

Thoughts:

He went down fighting when finishing second to Rogan at Caulfield last start, and his run rated 14.1 lengths faster than average for that grade.

It was his third run of the preparation, and he was up from 1600m to 2000m, so we expect him to improve with the extra run under his belt.

We expect him to roll forward and be hard to beat at a nice price.
