Thoughts:
Wow! This horse was impressive on debit when winning at Caulfield.
His rating came in over lengths faster than the average for that grade and those figures are well above what any other horses in this race have produced in their careers.
He also managed to run the second fastest 600-400m split for the meeting then ran the fastest final 200m of the entire meeting which is incredible at just his first start.
If it weren’t for barrier 16, we would be declaring this horse a special but you should be able to get around $2.50 (depending on how many of you jump on after reading this) which makes it still worth the bet.
There’s no doubt that 2YO races can throw up some interesting results but all this horse needs is a little luck and his figures suggest he should win.
