RACING: Warwick Farm Best Selection & Value Play 6/5
May 5, 2026
Midweek Sydney racing heads to Warwick Farm on Wednesday. Our analyst likes a progressive Waterhouse/Bott 3yo and a Waller filly that hit the line strongly 1st up as the value play.

Best Selection: R6- Supermassive
Supermassive was an impressive 0.3L winner over 1250m at Canterbury 1st up and looks capable of going on with it towards Saturday grade. He puts his 4: 2-1-0 career record to the test against the older horses in what looks to be a winnable BM72. He is versatile enough to control or take a sit from Gate 8 if the speed is on.

Value Selection: R1- Yattazou
I’m keen to be with Yattazou each way at $19/$3.5 in the opener after a great 1st up effort. She jumped with her head in the air which resulted in J Mac grabbing a hold and taking her straight back to the rear. Her job was always going to be tough coming from the tail on the tight Canterbury straight but the way she ripped through the line to finish 0.2L 2nd to Events suggests she has the talent to break through in midweek maiden company. She gets in really well at the weights dropping 2.5kg to 54kg and down in class against the 3yos.Â
