RACING: Sandown Best Bets – Saturday 5/9

Fri 4 Sep 2026, 3:23pm AEST - Sportingbase

Our Sandown Best Bets are in, with the card narrowed down to the runners we believe offer the strongest betting opportunities.

Rather than trying to find a bet in every race, we’ve focused on the horses that stood out most strongly through the form. These are our highest-rated selections at Sandown, including our best bet and the value chances we believe are worth backing at their current odds.

You may view the black book runners below but make sure you hit the + Black Book button and add your email in the box that appears so we can alert you 1hr before the horses race next to ensure you don’t miss backing a winner
