Ciaron Maher will be excited about this mare’s chances next start after she produced a terrific first up run from a 182 day break.
She ran a very solid pace to the 600m mark and still managed to run the 6th fastest last 600m of the meeting.
Her last 200m was significantly slower than her 400m to 200m split which suggests she peaked on her run which is no surprise being on a heavy track first up from a break.
We want to follow her next start and will look for the 1000 to 1100m distance.
