I like the work that the Les Bridge mare has been putting in this prep. She was outstanding 1st up charging home from off midfield to claim a 0.6L win at Warwick Farm. She stepped up to Saturday grade 2nd up and settled at the rear from a wide gate before taking inside runs and rocketing home the final 200m to finish 2L 3rd to Surf’s Up. She gets map upside 3rd up off a long break and looks ready to peak.
Value Play: R7 Rotagilla-
It’s worth sticking with the Waller 4yo after he was slightly disappointing when 1.8L 3rd at Eagle Farm during the winter carnival. He has been fantastic recording big wins on Heavy and Soft 7 surfaces in the past and shouldn’t have to go too far back from Gate 3. $7 looks great value.
