Matchday six is upon us and with some brilliant matchups this weekend it’s time for our weekly preview to keep you up to date with everything regarding the EPL.

Fulham V Watford – Saturday 22nd @ 12:30pm (Craven Cottage)

Both teams will be looking to return to winning form after losses last week. Fulham, who will be playing their 500th match in the Premier League, will have to do it without Tom Cairney (foot) and Tim Ream (back).

Watford had a great start to the season winning four from four before going down fighting against Manchester United 1-2.

Insights:

  • Watford has lost six of their last seven EPL away matches.
  • The ‘Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in each of Watford’s last four EPL matches
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored 16 goals in his last 22 league appearances for Fulham.

TIP: Watford

Burnley V Bournemouth – Saturday 22nd @ 3pm (Turf Moor)

Bournemouth has had a very strong start to the season with three wins from five games and currently sit in fifth place. They were strong at home against Leicester last week and we see no reason why they won’t be again here.

Burnley are coming off four consecutive losses and are yet to record a victory this season.

Insights:

  • The ‘Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in 10 of Bournemouth’s last 12 EPL matches as favourite.
  • Joshua King has scored a goal in each of Bournemouth’s last three EPL matches against Burnley.
  • There have been exactly two goals scored in the second half in each of the last 4 EPL matches between Burnley and Bournemouth.

TIP: Bournemouth

Crystal Palace V Newcastle – Saturday 22nd @ 3pm (Selhurst Park)

Newcastle currently sit in the relegation zone and without a win this season which would have the fans worried but a torrid fixture thus far it’s made it hard for them to gain some momentum.

Crystal Palace edged out Huddersfield last week and will be looking to build here back at home.

Insights:

  • The favourite has won seven of Crystal Palace’s last eight EPL matches at Selhurst Park,
  • The ‘Both Teams To Score’ market has hit in four of Newcastle United’s last five EPL matches.
  • Wilfred Zaha has scored eight goals in his last nine EPL appearances in day matches.

TIP: Crystal Palace

Cardiff City V Manchester City – Saturday 22nd @ 3pm (Cardiff City Stadium)

Manchester City currently sits in third place and are yet to record a loss. They were convincing winners against Fulham last week.

Cardiff are yet to get a W this season and are coming off a heavy loss to Chelsea last week (4-1).

Insights:

  • Manchester City has won seven of their last eight EPL away matches.
  • The ‘over 4.5 Goals’ market has hit in each of the last two EPL matches between Cardiff and Manchester C.
  • Raheem Sterling has scored a goal in three of his last four EPL appearances.

TIP: Manchester City -2.0

Liverpool V Southampton – Saturday 22nd @ 3pm (Anfield)

Liverpool will be full of confidence after a last minute goal secured victory against PSG in their first Champions League matchup during the week.

Southampton squandered their lead last week and had to settle for a draw with Brighton.

Insights:

  • Liverpool has kept a clean sheet in each of their last seven EPL home matches.
  • The ‘Both Teams To Score’ market has failed to hit in six of Liverpool’s last eight EPL matches.
  • Across all competitions, Mohammed Salah has been the first goal-scorer in 7 of his last 10 starts at Anfield.

TIP: Liverpool -2

Leicester V Huddersfield – Saturday 22nd @ 3pm (King Power Stadium)

Huddersfield are still looking for their first victory this season while Leicester goes into the contest on the back of two straight defeats.

Insights:

  • Four of Huddersfield’s last five EPL away matches have resulted in a draw.
  • Across all competitions, the ‘Both Teams To Score’ market has hit in 9 of the last 12 matches between Leicester and Huddersfield.
  • Two of Huddersfield’ last three EPL matches have resulted in a 1-1 draw.

TIP: Leicester -1

Manchester United V Wolves – Saturday 22nd @ 3pm (Old Trafford)

Both of these teams come into this having won their last two games but it will feel somewhat unfamiliar territory for them as this is the first time they have met since 2012.

Insights:

  • Manchester United has won 11 of their last 13 EPL day matches as home favourite.
  • Across all competitions, Manchester has won each of their last eight home matches against Wolverhampton.
  • Romelu Lukaku has scored four goals in Manchester United’s last four EPL matches.

TIP: Manchester United

Brighton V Tottenham – Saturday 22nd @ 5:30pm (Amex Stadium)

Brighton are showing a brave quality coming into this after two come-from-behind 2-2 draws while the Spurs have lost their last two league matches.

Insights:

  • Tottenham has won each of their last three EPL night matches.
  • Tottenham has kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven EPL night matches.
  • Brighton has trailed 1-0 at half-time in four of their last five EPL matches.

TIP: Draw

West Ham V Chelsea – Sunday 23rd @ 1:30pm (London Stadium)

West Ham are coming into this on the back of their first victory of the season whereas, Chelsea are looking to make it six straight victories.

Insights:

  • The ‘Both Teams To Score’ market has hit in five of the last six EPL matches between West Ham and Chelsea.
  • The ‘ Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in 11 of West Ham’s last 13 EPL day matches as an underdog.
  • Eden Hazard has scored at least one goal in each of Chelsea’s last three EPL matches.

TIP: Chelsea -1

Arsenal V Everton – Sunday 23rd @ 4pm (Emirates Stadium)

Both teams are coming in off completely different form lines here. Arsenal have won their last three and Everton are without a victory in their last three appearances.

Insights:

  • Arsenal has won each of their last 20 EPL day matches as a home favourite.
  • The ‘Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in 12 of Arsenal’s last 13 EPL day matches as a home favourite.
  • Aaron Ramsey has scored at least one goal in each of Arsenal’s last three EPL matches against Everton.

TIP: Arsenal -1

As always we have a multi-tip for the week which is:

Watford + Bournemouth + Manchester City + Chelsea + Arsenal @ $18
