Eight Pelicans made a three-pointer. Guard CJ McCollum of Canton, Ohio made six three-pointers, Brandon Ingram of Kinston, North Carolina made five three pointers, small forward Naji Marshall of Atlantic City, New Jersey and point guard Jose Alvarado of Brooklyn, New York made three three-pointers each, small forward Trey Murphy III of Durham, North Carolina made two three-pointers, and Dyson Daniels of Bendigo, Australia, shooting guard Jordan Hawkins of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and center Jonas Valanciunas of Utena, Lithuania all had one three-pointer.
Four times the Pelicans have had 21 three-pointers in a game. They came in a 126-116 Pelicans win over the Memphis Grizzlies on January 20, 2020, in a 131-126 Pelicans win over the Milwaukee Bucks on January 29, 2021, in a 131-110 Pelicans win over the Los Angeles Clippers on March 25, 2023, and in a 138-131 Pelicans win over the Grizzlies on April 5, 2023.
This was the second most number of points the Pelicans have scored in a game. They beat the Sacramento Kings 149-129 on October 19, 2018.
The NBA record for most three-pointers in a game belongs to the Milwaukee Bucks. They had 29 in a 144-97 Bucks win over the Miami Heat on December 29, 2020.
The Pelicans are at 16 wins and 11 losses. They are in seventh place in the Western Conference when it comes to winning percentage, but are tied with the 15-1o Los Angeles Clippers for sixth place in the Western Conference standings.
