BOMBASTIC BOY
He didn’t get the breaks when he finished fifth behind Is It Me as he missed the start and then he was held up in the straight. He went to the line full of running in what was a strong Benchmark 70. He’s sure to win a mid-week race at least shortly.

JUST FOLK
He’s now in the Gavin Bedggood stable and he’s quickly got him back to his best. It was a typically brave effort to run third as he had to do all the chasing behind the front runner Ascension. He grabbed him on the line to get third but he couldn’t hold off the swoopers who ran first and second.

He’s looking for longer than 1500 metres and also a race where he doesn’t have to take on Jimmysstar. He didn’t have the sprint to go with Jimmysstar but he finished solidly and was strong after the line.
