Our Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Caulfield 16/3
March 19, 2024
Our analyst has reviewed the sectional times, ratings & replays from last Saturday’s Caulfield meeting & has placed five horses you must follow in our black book below.
INEXORABLE
Lightly raced galloper who stretched out nicely to finish third behind the talented Fistsoffury and the in-form Socks Nation in the VOBIS Gold Reef. He’s bred on staying lines so he will be much better suited over distances further than 1600 metres. Grahame Begg has another smart horse on his hands.
THE SUMMIT
Excellent first-up run from this imported galloper when he finished second to potential top liner in First Immortal. He produced the fourth fastest last 200 metres of the meeting with a finishing burst of 11.46 seconds.

SEONEE
Held up at a key time in the straight and then she stretched out nicely when first-up third behind Waltz On By. She’s in for another good campaign for Patrick Payne
CASCADIAN
Another great effort from this hardy under-rated veteran to finish third in the All-Star Mile after giving Pride Of Jenni an enormous start. He’ll be better suited over 2000 metres and he will go close when he attempts to make it two Australian Cups on end.
