Nuggets to face Pacers in Mexico City on November 7

The Denver Nuggets will face the Indiana Pacers in Mexico City, Mexico on Saturday, November 7 according to Field Level Media. The game will take place at Mexico City’s Arena CDMX, and what might be a surprise to many is this will actually be the 35th NBA game to be played in Mexico. However, one must realize that 19 of the games did not matter as they were preseason games. So, this will be the 16th regular season game in Mexico that has meaning.

This will also be the first time ever that the Nuggets or Pacers have ever played a regular season game in Mexico. The last time a NBA game was played in Mexico was on November 1, 2025 as the Detroit Pistons beat the Dallas Mavericks 122-110.

The Nuggets and Pacers had opposite seasons during the 2025-26 NBA regular season. Denver was the third best team in the Western Conference with a record of 54 wins and 28 losses, and head into the postseason against the Minnesota Timberwolves red hot as they are winners of 12 straight games.

It was a tough season for Indiana however, as they were the second worst team in the NBA at 19 wins and 63 losses for a winning percentage of .232. The only team worse than the Pacers were the Washington Wizards at 17 wins and 65 losses.

The major reason why Indiana struggled all year is because they were without their star player–Tyrese Haliburton of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Haliburton tore his Achilles in game seven of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder and did not play a single game of the 2025-26 regular season.
