NRL Round 24 Review – Form Slumps, Upsets, Controversy & Injuries

Round 24 is done and dusted and with form slumps, upsets, fairytale finishes, controversy and injuries it’s now the time of the week where we keep you up to date with everything that happened in the round.

Game 1 had the Tigers searching for a 13+ victory which would keep them in the hunt for a top 8 finish but could only manage a two point victory.

Game 2 was a one sided affair with the Warriors showing they will be a serious contender come finals time. The Panthers were left scrambling after the loss and the fans are starting to ask questions regarding recent coaching decisions.

Game 3 provided J Thurston with a fairytale farewell to home fans when the Cowboys dominated the Eels.

Game 4 was a nail biter for Melbourne Storm fans after they had to fight until the full time siren to get the victory and stay in the hunt for the minor premiership.

Game 5 left Roosters fans scratching their heads after consecutive loses.

Game 6 had the Sharks breaking club records with Valentine Holmes scoring more tries in a season than any other Sharks player in history.

Game 7 was an absolute nightmare for Dragons fans and even had fans booing the playing group whilst leaving the field.
