Week four of the National Football League is now in the books. Here are five fascinating storylines after most teams have played a quarter of their schedule for the 2020 National Football League season.

5) Brilliance of Tom Brady. Despite being down 24-7 in the second quarter, Tom Brady did not panic, and guided the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to an impressive 38-31 come from behind victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Brady completed 30 of 46 passes for 369 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. The veteran QB spread the pigskin around as five different Buccaneers receivers caught touchdown passes. Mike Evans led the way with 122 yards receiving.

4) Joe Burrow records first NFL victory. The first overall pick from LSU guided the Cincinnati Bengals to a 33-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Burrow completed 25 of 36 passes for 300 yards and one touchdown. He also became the first NFL rookie quarterback ever to record 300 yards passing or more in three consecutive games according to ESPN.

3) Four teams at 4-0. After week four, there are four teams at 4-0. They are the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers. The Bills beat the Las Vegas Raiders 30-23, the Chiefs beat the New England Patriots 26-10, the Seahawks beat the Miami Dolphins 31-23 and the Green Bay Packers beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-16.

2) Dallas Cowboys defence is downright awful. Despite a magnificent start to the season for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, the Cowboys defense has been by far the worst in the entire NFL. In giving up a league high 146 points, they lost 49-38 to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The Browns had 307 rushing yards, the most ever allowed by the Cowboys in a single game.

1) Houston Texans make a coaching change. After a horrendous 0-4 start, the Texans fired head coach Bill O’Brien on Monday and named Romeo Crennel the interim head coach. Crennel has not been very effective as a head coach in the past. He has coached the Cleveland Browns for four seasons and the Kansas City Chiefs for two seasons, and has an overall record of 28 wins and 55 losses.
