Key Injuries

The two most notable injuries this past week came on defense. Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton of Thousand Oaks, California is gone for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, and San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave of Salisbury, North Carolina tore his partial tricep, and is likely gone the majority of the season. The Omaha, Nebraska native is projected to get 17 rushes for 79 rushing yards and four catches for 26 receiving yards and one touchdown against the Broncos. The loss of Singletary, will significantly weaken the Broncos defensive line.


Projected Upsets

There are two underdogs I like this week. They are the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. The Browns’s opponent, Las Vegas Raiders, simply looked awful against the Carolina Panthers last week. The Browns are better than the Panthers. The Bills meanwhile have been great the first three weeks and have three more days to prepare than their opponent, the Baltimore Ravens.
