Well that was a lot better wasn’t it. A massive 7.11 units of profit to get things back on track after a tough couple of weeks.

Las Vegas Raiders @ New York Jets

The Raiders have had a really disappointing couple of results. Last week felt like a spot to bounce back but they had a real let down game.  They do get the Jets now though who are of course winless on the season.

Looking ahead at their schedule this may be the last chance for the Jets to get a win with a tough run of games to end the season. They are big underdogs but I think they can keep it close. They are as healthy as they have been and the Raiders are without their best offensive player in Josh Jacobs. I am taking the Jets with the points and a small bet on them outright.

New England Patriots @ Los Angeles Chargers

Sometimes it is as simple as just one coach being so superior to the other and that is what is making me lean towards the Patriots here. New England are playing better and better and although I think LA has a superior roster, I just can’t pick Lynn over Belichick. I’ve been burnt far too often by the Chargers this season and I can’t do it again.

New York Giants @ Seattle Seahawks

The Giants continue to play sneakily good defence and I think they can do so again here. I think that ultimately the Seahawks will be too strong, but the Giants can be in this game right to the end.

Seattle so often play down to an opponent and I do not trust them giving so many points.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Miami Dolphins

The Bengals really struggled last week without Joe Burrow and there is little to suggest that won’t be the case again. The Dolphins have a strong defence and their offence isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders, meaning this could be a tighter affair with less passing from either team. We successfully backed against Brandon Allen and his passing yards last week and we will try and do the same again here.

New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons

These two divisional rivals meet and while they are probably headed in different directions, this should be a great match up. Both are playing very good defence and this should be a tight game.

Taysom Hill will be at quarterback again for the Saints and last week he got the job done against the depleted Broncos, but the Falcons will be a much tougher test. I think the Falcons can get it done here – providing Julio Jones plays.
