The fallout from Bam Adebayo’s reported altercation with Tyler Herro has escalated again, with Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem launching an extraordinary public attack on Draymond Green.
What began as a reported confrontation between former teammates has now erupted into a war of words between two of the NBA’s toughest personalities after Green questioned Haslem’s stance on the incident.
The dispute began after Green discussed the reported Las Vegas altercation on his podcast.
Referencing Haslem’s previous criticism of Green for punching former Golden State teammate Jordan Poole in 2022, Green questioned whether the former Heat captain would hold Adebayo to the same standard.

The Heat can offer James familiarity after his four-year stint in South Beach from 2010 to 2014, where he won two NBA championships and four consecutive Eastern Conference titles. Cleveland also presents a compelling option, offering the opportunity for an emotional third stint with his hometown franchise.
According to Fox Sports, however, Miami is preparing for every scenario.
If James ultimately signs elsewhere, the Heat are expected to consider pursuing Westbrook to strengthen their backcourt. While the veteran guard wouldn’t replace LeBron’s production, he would provide experience, leadership and another proven playmaker for a team determined to remain in championship contention.
Westbrook is coming off another productive season and remains one of the most experienced guards available on the market.
“So, when I first saw this, I was like, ‘Damn. This is two young guys Udonis Haslem raised.’”
Green then challenged Haslem directly.
“If you raised this young guy in the light of what you was saying about me, and now he punches this other young guy that y’all kind of co-raised, are you going to have that same energy?”
Haslem wasted little time responding.
In a lengthy post on social media, the three-time NBA champion accused Green of trying to compare two completely different situations and opened with a brutal shot at the Warriors veteran.
“I see some things just don’t change. You was on sucka st four years ago when you swung on Jordan Poole, and you on sucka st now.”
Haslem didn’t stop there.
He argued Green’s punch on Poole involved a 32-year-old veteran attacking a much younger teammate during Warriors practice, while insisting the reported incident involving Adebayo and Herro was different.
“If you think your big 32-year-old, three or four rings at the time having ass swinging on a 23-year-old Jordan Poole… is the same then you are even more delusional than I thought.”
Haslem also defended Adebayo’s character.
“Anyone who knows Bam knows he’s strong as baby bear. If he would’ve unloaded on Tyler 100 per cent it’s over.”
He finished by warning Green to leave him out of future discussions.
“You brought me into this and I am retired and out the way. I suggest you keep it pushing because I ain’t giving out no more hall passes.”
The public feud stems from Friday’s reported altercation in Las Vegas.
According to ESPN and multiple US outlets, Adebayo confronted former Heat teammate Tyler Herro at a practice court inside Resorts World Casino over comments Herro had allegedly made about him on social media. The confrontation reportedly became physical, with Adebayo striking Herro before security intervened.
Neither Adebayo nor Herro has publicly commented on the incident itself.
Herro’s only response came when he was approached by reporters during NBA Summer League.
“My only comment is no comment.”
The Miami Heat have confirmed they are aware of the reported incident but have declined to comment further.
What started as a dispute between former teammates has now drawn in two of the NBA’s most outspoken champions.
And judging by Haslem’s fiery response, this feud appears to be far from over.
