It is a decent matchup for Brissett here but there isn’t much minute upside for him today. They really want to get a look at Jalen Smith so I assume he’ll start at the 4 with Goga at the 5. Jackson comes back to back up Goga so between them they should make up most of the centre minutes. Jalen could get some run at the 5 which would open up some extra minutes for Brissett at the 4, but either way it’s hard to really see Brissett get over 28. Brogdon back as well to chew up some usage. Want to get this out as I strongly think Jalen starts over Brissett.
The role has been insane for Hali since getting to Indi with 8 mins of touch time and 22 potential assists but this is a big number and Brogdon is quite ball dominant himself. They mentioned they wanted to play Brog off ball more but it’s very hard to imagine Hali keeping up those rates. The 39 minutes he’s averaging will likely come down a bit too, especially if Duarte plays. The markets are priced with Brog playing around 25 minutes, but he could get to 30 here with all the time off as he did play 18 first half minutes in that return game against the Lakers.
