Pistons vs Heat 11:10am AEST
It’s a shame they are versing the heat today because it otherwise would’ve been an amazing chance to unload on Cade who’s role right now is as good as it gets. Coming off a triple double in 38 minutes I think we’re getting a decent price on the double double here as he’s shown he can fill it up in all categories, and with 7.4 minutes of touch time creating 20 potentials it wasn’t a fluke. Goes from one of the best matchups in the league to one of the toughest which is why I’m hesitant, and they could easily get blown out here but if the Pistons can hang around they’ll need to be hitting shots and with Cade creating the majority of those shots he should benefit. Blazers vs Nuggets 2:10pm AEST
Nice setup for Barton today without Jokic against the very weak Blazers back court. We’re up to a 190 minute sample of Barton on the court without Jokic and he’s crushed with a 5.8% usage bump posting a 23.4/5.5/4.0 per 36 line. Portland’s D has been a touch better but they are still ranked 25th on the season. The role has been great over the last two Jokic has sat, despite the bad matchups, leading the team with 36 front court touches and 8.0 drives per game. Stack of upside as the teams primary scorer in a very plus matchup.
