NBA: Heat Predicted to Target Bradley Beal After Missing Out on LeBron James

The Miami Heat could make another significant move this NBA offseason, with Bradley Beal emerging as a potential target after the franchise missed out on signing LeBron James. While no deal has been reported, a new prediction suggests the three-time NBA All-Star could be a logical addition as Miami continues reshaping its roster for another championship push.

According to a Bleacher Report prediction, the Heat are viewed as one of the strongest landing spots for Beal, who would add another experienced scorer alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo if a move were to eventuate.

Beal Linked With Miami

The report, published by Yahoo Sports and citing Bleacher Report, identifies Miami as a potential destination for Beal following LeBron James’ decision to join the Philadelphia 76ers.

Beal, a three-time NBA All-Star, has earned approximately US$342 million across his 14-year NBA career and remains one of the league’s most accomplished perimeter scorers. While there has been speculation about his next destination, no agreement between Beal and the Heat has been reported.

Heat Continue Exploring Options

Miami entered the offseason hoping to secure LeBron James before the four-time NBA champion instead signed with Philadelphia.

The Heat have also been linked with veteran sharpshooter Klay Thompson, with the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson previously reporting mutual interest between the franchise and the four-time NBA champion.

Adding another experienced player remains a priority as Miami looks to build around Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro heading into the new season.

Why Beal Fits

If Miami were to pursue Beal, he would provide another proven scoring option and additional backcourt experience.

Across 14 NBA seasons, Beal has established himself as one of the league’s most consistent offensive players, earning three All-Star selections while averaging more than 20 points per game over his career.

Although any move remains speculative at this stage, Miami continues to feature prominently whenever experienced stars become available, and Beal’s name is now the latest to be linked with the franchise.

Nothing Official Yet

At this stage, the reported link remains a prediction rather than an active transaction.

Neither the Heat nor Beal has announced negotiations, and no deal has been reported. However, with free agency continuing to unfold, Miami is expected to remain active in its search for additional veteran talent before the start of the 2026-27 NBA season.
