Victor Wembanyama made NBA history on Monday by becoming the youngest player ever to have a triple-double with 10+ blocks. He accomplished the feat in a 122-99 San Antonio Spurs win over the Toronto Raptors. Let’s take a look at the five NBA players who have the most triple doubles with 10+ blocks.

5) Mark Eaton

The center from Westminster, California had five triple doubles with 10 or more blocks with the Utah Jazz. One of Eaton’s most famous 10-block triple double games came on January 18, 1985, when he had 20 rebounds, a career-high 14 blocks and 12 points in a 127-122 Jazz win over the Portland Trail Blazers. That season Eaton was also the Defensive Player of the Year and led the NBA with a career-high 5.6 blocks per game.

4) Shawn Bradley

The center from Landstuhl, Germany had six triple doubles with 10+ blocks in his career. It happened five times with the New Jersey Nets from 1996 to 1997, and once with the Dallas Mavericks in 1998. Bradley’s most impressive 10+ block triple-double came with the Mavericks on April 7, 1998. In a 99-91 Mavericks loss to the Trail Blazers, he had 22 points, 22 rebounds, and 13 blocks coming off the bench.

3) David Robinson

Wembanyama is not the only Spurs player known for his 10+ block triple doubles. From 1990 to 1994, Spurs center David Robinson of Key West, Florida had nine triple doubles with 10+ blocks. In two of these games, Robinson had 43 points. He had 43 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 117-111 Spurs win over the Orlando Magic on January 10, 1991, and 43 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 110-95 Spurs win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on November 9, 1993.

1) Dikembe Mutombo

The native of Kinshasa, Congo, was 7’2″ and a dynamic player in every sense of the word. He had 10 10+block triple doubles. Eight of Mutombo’s 10+ block triple doubles came with the Denver Nuggets from 1993 to 1995. He also accomplished the feat once with the Atlanta Hawks in 2000, and once with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2001. Mutombo had a career-high 12 blocks in a 94-83 Nuggets win over the Los Angeles Clippers on April 18, 1993. In that game, Mutombo had 24 points and 12 rebounds.

1) Hakeem Olajuwon

The remarkable center from Lagos, Nigeria also had 10 10+ block triple doubles from 1986 to 1996 with the Houston Rockets. One of Olajuwon’s most notable 10+ block triple double games came on November 11, 1989. He tied his career-high with 14 blocks, as well as 24 points and 21 rebounds in a 100-92 Rockets win over the Utah Jazz.
