Top 14 non quarterbacks signed in NFL free agency

Earlier today we had a look at five quarterbacks signed in National Football League free agency. Now let us take a look at 14 more free agency signings from Monday according to spotrac.com. Contracts are ranked based on their financial terms with a minimum of $10 million per year.

13) Bobby Okereke–New York Giants

The linebacker from San Mateo, California signed a four-year deal worth $40 million. Okereke has played the last four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. In 2022, he had 151 combined tackles (99 solo tackles and 52 assisted tackles), six tackles for a loss, five pass deflections, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

13) Nate Davis–Chicago Bears

The offensive lineman from York, Maine signed a three-year deal worth $30 million. He has played the last four seasons with the New York Giants.

12) Cameron Sutton–Detroit Lions

The cornerback from Jonesboro, Georgia signed a three-year contract worth $33 million. He played the last six seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2022, he had 43 combined tackles (35 solo tackles and eight assisted tackles), three interceptions for 26 yards, 15 pass deflections and one tackle for a loss.

11) David Onyemata–Atlanta Falcons

The Nigerian-Canadian signed a three-year deal worth $35 million. The University of Manitoba product has played the last seven seasons in New Orleans. In 2022, he had 43 combined tackles (25 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles), 11 quarterback hits, five tackles for a loss, five sacks, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery. The fumble recovery came in a 39-32 Saints win over the Seattle Seahawks on October 9.

10) Ben Powers–Denver Broncos

The offensive guard from Wichita, Kansas signed a four-year deal worth $51.5 million. He played the last four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

9) Marcus Davenport–Minnesota Vikings

The defensive end from San Antonio, Texas signed a one-year deal worth $13 million. He played the last five seasons with the New Orleans Saints. In 2022, he had 29 combined tackles (16 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles), two tackles for a loss, eight quarterback hits and half a sack. The two tackles for a loss came in the 24-0 Saints win over the Las Vegas Raiders on October 30.

8) Dalvin Tomlinson–Cleveland Browns

The defensive tackle from McDonough, Georgia signed a four-year deal worth $57 million. He has played four seasons with the New York Giants (2017 to 2020), and two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (2021 and 2022). In 2022, Tomlinson played 13 games and had 42 combined tackles (20 solo tackles and 22 assisted tackles), 10 quarterback hits, three tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The fumble recovery came in a 23-7 Vikings win over the Green Bay Packers on September 11. The forced fumble came in a 28-25 Vikings win over the New Orleans Saints on October 2.

7) Zach Allen–Denver Broncos

The defensive end from New Canaan, Connecticut signed a three-year deal worth $47.75 million. He has played his last four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. In 13 games in 2022, Allen had 47 combined tackles (23 solo tackles and 24 assisted tackles), 20 quarterback hits, 10 tackles for a loss, eight pass deflections and 5.5 sacks.

6) Jessie Bates III–Atlanta Falcons

The safety from Fort Wayne, Indiana signed a four-year deal worth $64.02 million. He has played the last five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. In 16 games in 2022, Bates III had 71 combined tackles (38 solo tackles and 33 assisted tackles), one tackle for a loss, four interceptions for 28 yards, eight pass deflections and one forced fumble. The tackle for a loss came in a 22-18 Bengals win over the New England Patriots on New Year’s Eve. The forced fumble came in a 27-16 Bengals won over the Baltimore Ravens on January 8.

5) Dre’Mont Jones–Seattle Seahawks

The defensive lineman from Cleveland, Ohio signed a three-year deal worth $51.53 million. Jones played the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos. In 2022, he had 47 combined tackles (24 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles), 10 quarterback hits, nine tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Jones’s forced fumble came in a 16-9 Broncos win over the Houston Texans on September 18.

4) Mike McGlinchey–Denver Broncos

The right tackle from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania signed a five-year deal worth $87.5 million. McGlinchey played five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers from 2018 to 2022.

3) Tremaine Edmunds–Chicago Bears

The linebacker from Danville, Virginia signed a four-year deal worth $72 million. A two-time Pro Bowler (2019 and 2020), Edmunds played 13 games in 2022. He had 102 combined tackles (66 solo tackles and 33 assisted tackles), six tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, one interception for four yards, one sack, and seven pass deflections. Edmunds’s sack came in a 41-7 Bills win over the Tennessee Titans on September 19. Edmunds’s interception came in a 35-23 Bills win over the New England Patriots on January 8.

2) Jawaan Taylor–Kansas City Chiefs

The right tackle from Cocoa, Florida signed a four-year deal worth $80 million. He played his last four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and had one solo tackle.

1) Javon Hargrave–San Francisco 49ers

The defensive tackle from Salisbury, North Carolina signed a four-year deal worth $84 million. He played four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2016 to 2019, and the last three seasons from 2020 to 2022 with the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2021, Hargrave was selected to the Pro Bowl. In 2022, Hargrave had 60 combined tackles (37 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles), 10 tackles for a loss, 16 quarterback hits, 11 sacks, two pass deflections, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Hargrave’s fumble recoveries came in a 24-8 Eagles win over the Washington Commanders on September 25 and in a 29-21 Eagles win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 2. Hargrave’s forced fumble came in a 35-13 Eagles win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 30. Hargrave’s pass deflections came in a 26-17 Eagles win over the Dallas Cowboys and in a 22-16 Eagles win over the New York Giants on January 8.
