The New York Knicks had a dominant win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Just how bad was it for the Raptors? Well, they had their worst loss at home in franchise as they were completely spanked 145-101.

The 44-point loss set a record that was previously at 41 points when the Raptors lost 139-98 to the New Orleans Pelicans on March 5, 2024. It was also the third worst loss in Raptors history.  The worst loss in Raptors history was 46 points when they lost 125-79 to the Knicks on April 15, 1996.  The second worst loss in Raptors history was 45 points when they lost 144-99 to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Boxing Day, 2021.

This was also the sixth biggest win in Knicks franchise history. New York’s largest win was 48 points, a feat they have accomplished three times. The Knicks beat the Detroit Pistons 135-87 on December 20, 1968, beat the Philadelphia 76ers 139-91 on November 29, 1972, and beat the 76ers again 130-82 on April 21, 1994.

Six Knicks reached double digits in scoring in the win over the Raptors. Point guard Miles McBride of Cincinnati, Ohio led New York with 29 points. He was followed by All-Star guard Jalen Brunson of New Brunswick, New Jersey (26 points), former Raptors center Precious Achiuwa of Port Harcourt, Nigeria (19 points), forward Bojan Bogdanovic of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina (18 points), shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo of Newark, Delaware (16 points), and center Isaiah Hartenstein of Eugene, Oregon (15 points). Achiuwa led the Knicks with 12 rebounds and small forward Josh Hart of Silver Spring, Maryland led the Knicks with 10 assists.

The Knicks are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference. They have a record of 44 wins and 28 losses.
