Kensington Best Selection & Value Play 9/10
October 9, 2024
Midweek racing heads to Kensington this week. We’ve selected a 4yo with wins over Franz Josef, Little Cointreau and Silvanito and a Widdup mare in the last as a value play.Â
Best Selection: R4- Captain Furai
Captain Furai is an exciting Waller 4yo returning from a spell with an impressive 4: 3-1-0 record. He has wins over Silvanito, Little Cointreau and Franz Josef on his record, which reads well for this.
He wasn’t asked to do much in his latest trial with J Mac on board but the way he went through the line along with the Waller team choosing to go 1400m suggests he’s ready to go 1st up.

Value Selection: R8- Colours of Autumn
Colours of Autumn looks a great each way value bet to end the day. She was a dominant 3.3L winner at Newcastle over 1350m 2nd up before running on nicely from the rear over a mile at Warwick Farm. She maps to settle around midfield and should be strong late.Â
