According to Jonathan Comeaux of nfltraderumors.co, the Jacksonville Jaguars are trading left tackle Cam Robinson of Monroe, Louisiana to the Minnesota Vikings, in a transaction that took place on Tuesday. The Vikings are also receiving a conditional seventh round pick in the 2026 National Football League Draft. The Jaguars are receiving a conditional fifth round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The draft pick can be a fourth round pick in 2026 if certain conditions are met.
Robinson is joining his second NFL franchise. He has played 91 games with the Jaguars since 2017. He has had three fumble recoveries in that time. Robinson had one fumble recovery in 2017, 2019, and 2020.
The Vikings were in need of an offensive lineman as Christian Darrisaw of Petersburg, Virginia suffered a season-ending knee surgery on Thursday in a 30-20 Vikings loss to the Los Angeles Rams. This was a second straight loss for the Vikings as they lost 31-29 to the Detroit Lions on October 20. Minnesota had won their first five games before losing their last two contests. Minnesota next plays the Indianapolis Colts in the Sunday nighter.
This is the second time this month the Jaguars have traded one of their players. On October 14, the Jaguars traded defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris to the Seattle Seahawks for a sixth round draft pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
It has been a disappointing season for the Jaguars. They are currently at two wins and six losses, and have the second worst record in the American Football Conference. The only team with a worse record are the Tennessee Titans at one win and six losses.
