Chris Camilleri has taken a look back over the trials of the past week, reviewing the replays and times to come up with three to follow first up and through their prep.

Iciafox – Randwick 8/9

This John O’Shea trained galloper showed sharp improvement at his second trial over 1050m, sat back and hit the line strongly under no riding.

When To Bet

Ready to go to the track now and break its maiden at his first career start over 1100-1200m.

Trial 7 over 1050m : Overall Time 1:03.45 Last 600m 34.65

Ocean Emperor – Randwick 8/9

The galloper has now returned a gelding and it looks to have done the trick, very good trial sitting back off the speed and hitting the line strongly under minimal riding finishing a length of Eduardo.

When To Bet

Could go straight to the races now over 1000m or one more trial over 1000m.

Trial 12 over 735m : Overall Time 43.30 Last 600m 33.28

Shoalin Temple – Randwick 8/9

Highly impressive first trial by this son of Lonhro, sat wide throughout and was coming away fro the field under no riding with James McDonald on board.

When To Bet

Could go straight to the races now over 1000m or one more trial over 1000m.

Trial 16 over 735m : Overall Time 44.47 Last 600m 34.31
