Santa Ana Lane, was very good first up in the Group 2 Gilgai up the Flemington straight sitting back off a moderate tempo before powering to the line late, will take a heap of improvement from that effort and has won 3 times in his career when second up. With the predicted fast early pace Mark Zahra will go back and settle towards the rear and saved for one sprint at them late.
