Best Of The Best – Our 3 Best Bets For This Saturday 29/1
January 28, 2022
Last week week Toomuchtobear kept the winners rolling in. Some of Sydney’s top 2yos and sprinters will go around of Expressway Stakes Day. I’ve picked out a promising filly from the Waller yard, a runner from the Neasham yard dropping right back in grade and an underrated filly from the Snowden yard.

Ā Rosehill Race 4 – And We Danced
Looking to Sydney’s best trainer/jockey combination to kick us off with a winner with And We Danced. She’s finished 2nd in both runs at Randwick and Rosehill this prep over 1500m and 1600m and I think she should be peaking here 3rd up over 1500m.
Tip: 2 Units Win And We Danced @$3.4 With TopSport
Rosehill Race 8 – Holyfield
Holyfield drops right back in grade here after an outstanding 2nd in the Magic Millions Cup behind the classy Eleven Eleven. This is considerably weaker but he does have 59.5kg on his back after Jenny Duggan’s claim. It’s going to take the apprentice’s best ride to overcome the horror gate without burning too many tickets but the 4yo does have decent gate speed.
Tip: 1 Unit Win Holyfield @$8.5 with TopSport
Rosehill Race 9 – Latino Blend
Taking a shot at the stumps with Latino Blend. The Snowden’s clearly have an opinion of her sending her around in the top 3yo filly races in Sydney over the spring carnival. When fresh she was able to split superstars Swift Witness and Four Moves Ahead over this distance when 2nd in the Silver Shadow Stakes before a couple of flat runs over longer distances in G2 and G1 races. This is easier and she represents great value.
Tip: 1 Unit Each Way Latino Blend @$12/$3.3 withTopSport
