Value Selection: R8- Townsend
Townsend looks great value if you’re willing to look past his average effort when 5L 11th at Randwick over 1400m 1st up as he steps out to a more suitable 1600m. He was outstanding leading all the way for a 3.4L win at Newcastle on Hunter Day 2nd up last prep. He should be able to find the lead and looks to be really suited by the short Gosford straight if he can kick off the turn.
