Winning colt from the Godophin stable. Very strong looking colt, hard held and won impressively 50.59 L600m 34.18, 3rd fastest 600m. Looks a great type, sat behind the leader and was produced at the 200m where he swept to the lead. Eased down late. Right in this.
Expected Position: Backmarker/Midfield
5. Circularity
- Jockey: G Schofield
- Trainer: C Maher & D Eustace
- Barrier: 2
- Market Price: $27
- Assessed Price: 27
Pushed along a fair way out, stuck on to his credit but no match for Barbaric. Nice gate speed but this looks a hard task.
Expected Position: Midfield
6. Gamboa
- Jockey: J Collett
- Trainer: C Maher & D Eustace
- Barrier: 6
- Market Price: $35

Chased tear away leader well, wasn’t dully tested in the straight. Hard to access on that trial. Look for market move if any.

7. Global Quest
- Jockey: J McDonald
- Trainer: C Waller
- Barrier: 3
- Market Price: $4.60

Trial of the morning for mine regarding Colts. Did it very easy in the run, looked to find a great rhythm and relax. Hard held in the straight where he went further and further in front, other horses off the bit chasing hard. Do note, J-Mac had the pick between Beyliks and Global Quest. Time 50.79 L600m 34.55 eased down so take into consideration. Keen
Expected Position: Pace/Midfield
8. Lamelo
- Jockey: A Adkins
- Trainer: A Usher
- Barrier: 8
- Market Price: $27
- Assessed Price: $20
Very green in trial when wanting to duck in the straight, when balanced up hit the line nice. Beautiful looking colt. Owner of the horse is Wollongong Hawks star signing Lamelo Ball.
Expected Position: Midfield
9. Mr Colorful
- Jockey: B Avdulla
- Trainer: G Moore
- Barrier: 12

10. Nitrous
- Jockey: K McEvoy
- Trainer: P & P Snowden
- Barrier: 4
- Market Price: $6

Loved the trial. Jumped great, settled well the traveled nicely into the straight where hard held most of the straight. Asked for an effort over the last 50m and responded swiftly to run 3rd fastest time of the morning. Very nice work, right in this.
Expected Position: Pace
11. Post Code
- Jockey: T Clark
- Trainer: G Waterhouse & A Bott
- Barrier: 1
- Market Price: $6
- Assessed Price: $6
Beautiful looking colt. Slow out of the gates and was unable to cross, caught in awkward spot. Balanced up in the straight and looked to find gears under his own steam. Chased Nitrous well but was beaten 2L. Stable stated they will want to be more prominent race day. Top hope.
Expected Position: Pace
