We head to Sha Tin on Sunday for a solid 10 race card headed by the Hong Kong Derby. Our Hong Kong tipper is on fire and has put up a massive card for the meeting.

Big debut effort over this track/trip. That rating sets him up nicely as he’ll take improvement for it. Will be close in a race without much speed. Joao sticks here and looks tough to beat.

Like this price about him. He received the blinkers first time two back, where he finishing 2nd 0.3L over 1800 here. That rating was good enough to go close here. He then finished 14 32L in a complete forgive run. Has since been to and trialled well for return.

Really liked his debut effort, thought he was excellent coming from out the back to charge home for 6th running an excellent rating, hitting the line very well in a smart cl4. He’ll relish the 1400m here taking improvement off that debut run. Price is extremely attractive.

Maps well for him in what looks to be a race without speed. Should roll forward from the wide draw and control things from in front. Has the ratings to win this. Ideally, he can keep them rolling with the solid rating over 2200m last start. Likes racing fresh.

Racing well over the 1400m recording 2 wins prior to his 5th, last start where he was too far back at the turn but flew home late. Has been recording good ratings and his recent late splits suggest he’ll relish getting out to the mile. Joao on to deal with the draw.

Think he is the one who’ll appreciate this trip the most coming out of the Hong Kong classic. He finished 4th 2.5L at the same weights the field carries now. He sat 4 wide no cover the trip and came again late to finish 4th 2.5L, his late splits suggest he’ll enjoy the added trip. Was undefeated prior.

Nice price here. Won over the 1400m here last start when getting favours from the draw. Ran a nice rating regardless. His last 2 starts have been super and they set him up nicely. Jockey underbet and inform and trainer underbet. Draws wide but can get back and run on, good speed helps his cause. Must be included at the price.
